We decided to visit Bedgebury Pinetum (thankfully one of the information boards around the place informed me it was pronounced py-knee-tum because I didn't have a clue!) today. It was lovely. We arrived at about 9am and it was so peaceful and quiet. There weren't many people at all around and all you could hear were the birds. The whole place very much reminded me of the Girl Scout camp I worked on one summer in Florida.
The trees were spectacular and Cara loved the play area. When we left she asked, "can we go the forest another day?" Both she and I had to have a little nap in the car on the way home!
